We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Product Designer to lead the design of user-centered, innovative, and visually compelling products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute design strategies that align with business goals and user needs. As a design leader, you will shape the overall design direction, mentor team members, and champion design excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless and user-friendly experiences. 
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product vision and strategy. 
- Conduct user research to uncover insights and validate design decisions. 
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design ideas effectively. 
- Establish and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products. 
- Advocate for user needs while balancing business objectives and technical constraints. 
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity. 
- Stay ahead of industry trends and apply best practices to improve the design process. 
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
- 8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions. 
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. 
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX), interaction design (IxD), and visual design principles. 
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing. 
- Proficiency in building and maintaining design systems. 
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly. 
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and developing design talent. 
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a user-first mindset.
